是的，现在总统的权力已与往日大相径庭，有了瞎折腾的空间。但同时这也与总统的性格、资历有很大关系，比如现任比前任就安分了很多:)

从罗斯福之后，联邦政府权力极大扩张，给了总统折腾的基础，总统也都喜欢瞎折腾，民众好像也希望总统瞎折腾，对总统寄予了太多他们本不应该承担的责任和期望。民众需要一位神，却忘了神只能有一位并且只能在天上。
